For over 13 years, I taught art to middle and high schoolers, raised two kids of my own (often while learning right alongside them), and found myself drawn to the moments that shape how families grow. My approach is grounded, honest, and rooted in emotional intelligence—with a touch of creativity and humor to keep things human. Parenting has been the most meaningful journey of my life, and it’s what led me here. I created Raising Our Future to offer the kind of thoughtful support I wish every parent had: a calm, compassionate space to reflect, reconnect, and lead their family with intention.
Whether you had children at a young age like I did (I had my first at 21—and as my daughter likes to say, I was pretty much growing up with her), or you became a parent later in life with more years and wisdom behind you—parenting asks all of us to meet ourselves deeply. It invites us to slow down. To reflect.
To heal old patterns and rewrite the stories we want our children to carry forward. My mission is to create a space where you feel supported in doing that work—with grace, intention, and compassion. Because the way you lead your family now has the power to shape not just your child’s future, but your own healing and growth as well.
My signature coaching program offers help for parents who want to lead their families with more clarity, calm, and connection.
My coaching offers support for teenagers as they navigate the often complex transitions of adolescence.
In-person workshops for parents, caregivers, and educators who want more support in guiding their children.
Before working with Castilia, I felt lost, frustrated, and unsure how to stay calm during stressful parenting moments. I worried I’d be judged or told I was doing everything wrong—but from the very first conversation, Castilia made me feel safe, supported, and seen. Her guidance changed everything. I now have practical tools that actually work, more peace in my home, and a deeper connection with my child that I didn’t know was possible.
I was juggling work, two young kids, and just trying to make it through each day without blowing up. I didn’t realize how much of my own childhood was still showing up in how I responded to my kids. Castilia didn’t just give me strategies—she helped me understand myself. Her warmth, humor, and honesty made it feel like I was talking to a wise friend who gets it. I’ve learned how to regulate myself, which has completely changed the way I show up at home. We’re all a little calmer now, and that’s everything.
I came into this thinking I needed help fixing my child’s behavior. What I got was so much deeper. Castilia helped me understand what was really going on underneath the surface—myself and my child. I was reacting out of fear and frustration without even realizing it. Her coaching gave me practical tools and emotional insight. Now, instead of feeling like my child and I are on opposite teams, I feel like we’re in this together. It’s a completely different energy in our home, and I’m so grateful.
Honestly, I didn’t know where to start. I knew I didn’t want to repeat the cycles I grew up with, but I also didn’t have a blueprint for anything different. Working with Castilia was healing in ways I didn’t expect. She didn’t make me feel ashamed—she made me feel seen. Every session gave me a little more clarity and courage to try something new. Now, I’m not just parenting my child differently—I’m parenting myself with more care and compassion too.
It sounds small, but it’s not. I used to dread getting everyone out the door in the morning. Everything was a battle—shoes, teeth, backpacks, all of it. Since working with Castilia, I’ve learned how to slow down, regulate myself, and actually connect with my kids before rushing through the day. She gave me the tools to shift our routines and the mindset to approach parenting in a way that actually feels good. It’s not perfect—but it’s better. And that matters.
I was hesitant. I didn’t know what to expect or if it would really help. But from our first call, Castilia made me feel safe and supported. She’s not here to judge—she’s here to walk with you. I’ve grown more in a few weeks than I did in years of reading parenting books. I feel stronger, more equipped, and honestly just more hopeful. My relationship with my child feels lighter, and I’m learning how to lead with love, not pressure.
